Straight Stitch & Running Stitch
Straight Stitch -A straight stitch is a single short stitch made by passing the needle up and down to form a straight line. It’s used for outlines, small fills, texture, and simple shapes. Short, close stitches make solid fills; spaced stitches look like dots or texture.
Running Stitch -The running stitch is a line of small straight stitches with gaps. Use it for outlines, gathering, basting, or decorative dashed lines. Short stitches with small gaps give neat lines; longer stitches look loose and sketchy.
